It was about $150 cheaper than the SAR1. You used to be able to get the SAR 1,2 and 3 at any gun store. Short time later I was officially the proud new owner of a WASR 10/63. Before he did the transfer he suggested I give the rifle the once over just in case it had to be sent back.
