Those guns push the limits of how small a semiautomatic pistol can be. I consider the LCP to be more of a point shooting/face gun to stop an immediate threat. My LCP is also a Gen2 model, so the trigger and sights are easier for to to control than the older model. What I like more about the G42 is the Glock Safe Action System, and also because the slide locks back after the last round is fired.I have seen some very nice shooting done by a female shooter with a Glock 42. She was starting to fatigue from recoil as the round count approached 50 but even those last few shots were good.
