I dusted off my ancient MEC 600, bought shot, 700x, primers, CB 8100 wads, and 500 12ga Remington Gun Club hulls. JMHO but I would not lump the adjustable charge bar and the Spindex kit together as "upgrades." The Spindex is designed and produced by Mec. I can't conceive of anyone that had the newer design wishing to go back to the old. The adjustable charge bar is a device made by another company that was designed by another company to fit a mec.
