So, if you’re an FFXIV fan and can’t wait until the update, or just want to take a lot of photos with cool new effects at your disposal, this is how you set up GShade.
Files. 1. Drag and drop the .addon and .ini file from the REST mod into the """ FINAL FANTASY XIV Online\game """ folder where the game executables are. 2. Drag and drop the ReShade preset from here in the same place. 3. Install ReShade. It's important to set the API to DX11 and to pick the DX11 .exe.Be sure to use the Reshade version which supports Addons (so the unsigned version). When you start your game, the Addons tab in the Reshade gui should show the ReshadeEffectShaderToggler information and controls.
